Need #3: Quarterback

Fitzpatrick can hold down the fort in 2020 but finding a long term franchise QB for 2021 and beyond is an absolute priority.

Need #4: Running Back

As its stand now the Dolphins have the least impressive RB depth chart in the league, the position needs a complete overhaul.

  • Free Agency: Derrick Henry, Kareem Hunt, Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler, Carlos Hyde, Peyton Barber, Dwayne Washington.
  • Draft: Jonathan Taylor, J.K. Dobbins, D'Andre Swift

Need #5: Interior Offensive Line

An upgrade is needed at Center and at least one of the Offensive Guard spots.

  • Free Agency: Joe Thuney, Brandon Scherff, Ron Leary, Connor McGovern, Ted Karras
  • Draft: Cesar Ruiz, Lloyd Cushenberry III, Nick Harris, and Tyler Biadasz.

Need #6: Safety

Bobby McCain would be better off moving back to nickel CB and Reshad Jones is an offseason cut candidate. Leaving at least one but maybe two openings at Safety.

Jason Sanders needs competition after missing 7 FGs in 2019, while so-so Punter Matt Haack is a Free Agent.
